Apple Launches International Women's Day Activity Challenge for Apple Watch Owners

Celebrate International Women’s Day with Apple’s latest Activity Challenge for Apple Watch users. The event will take place on March 8, and Apple Watch owners are encouraged to complete any workout for 20 minutes or more.

Participants who complete the challenge will receive a special badge in the Apple Fitness app and a collection of animated stickers that can be used in Messages and FaceTime.

Promoting Fitness with Apple Watch

Apple Watch Activity Challenges are aimed at promoting the use of the Watch for fitness and motivating users to take advantage of its workout-tracking features.

To complete the challenge, users can use any workout app that records data in the Apple Fitness app, including Apple’s workout service, Apple Fitness+.

Completing the Challenge

Apple Watch users will be notified about the International Women’s Day Activity Challenge in the days leading up to the event.

To earn the award, they need to complete any workout for at least 20 minutes and record their time with the Workout app or any app that adds workouts to Health.
